16 views and no replys? I guess the truck must not be worth it.

While I admit she's pretty and has a lot of cool stuff, I'd have a hard time paying $12000 for her.

Nice paint, engine compartment.
Nice interior but nothing special.
Rust on cab underneath, rust probably lurking elsewhere.
Door and hood do not align.
Frame notch for rear is scary.
For price, underneath should be as nice as body.
IMO, way overpriced.

I talked to the shop that painted it and they said the body was real solid. So you guys don't think the c notch
was done well? It drives super tight with the volare clip and the steering box upgrade. I was adding everything up for me to build it and I was at over $12,000. $2,000 for truck $3,000 for motor, $2,000 for front clip and steering, $3000 for paint , $1500 for interior etc. He won't take less then $11,000 . Should I keep looking?

I agree with the others here. That truck is overpriced. Sure, they may have $12000 into it, but he is not going to get that out of it. You can pick up a truck in just as good condition for $5k to $6k.
When I am done with my crew cab, I am going to have about $12k into it that that is counting the cost of the truck, a 460 rebuild, complete frame off restoration with all new carpet, power windows and doorlocks, brand new A/C and heat, new wiring, dynomat, new upholstery, perfectly straight body and new paint, and many other additions and upgrades. Even with all that done, I doubt I would be able to get $12k for the truck. I would say keep looking around and you will find a much better deal out there.

Re: opinions on 1967 F100 purchase
My opinion, I would keep looking. I see to many cheesey things on there. The rear rollpan, Or whatever it is they put on there looks like a piece of sheetmetal bent on a metal brake in someones garage, and its not even body color
The $3 door pull handle, The cheap do-it yourself bedliner thats already coming off. And no power brakes.
The frontend looks like it came off a dodge or plymouth with torsion bar set up. And the underside of the cab still has rust and rustholes that haven't been repaired. Looks like a cheap slap together build that someone wants to much money for, I Guess thats why they didn't even get 1 bid when it was on eBay. Nice paint can only cover so much.
From what i hear on here Washington state has lots of nice trucks at good prices, That truck isn't one of them

The roll pan is actually a steel bumper. Well I guess I will keep searching, I really like the looks of the truck and it trully drives awesome and runs great. But if the value is not there it's not worth it to me because I don't keep things very long. If anyone knows of any better trucks out there let me know, I have to spend this cash before my wife finds something she wants more. I dont want much of a project and I don't want it to drive like an old truck.

This is Ford country! You just can't beat an old Ford truck.

I like the oil leak on the bellhousing that was just wiped off for the picture. The notch looks kinda scary, Id like to see the loop ground off flush with the framerail. The front clip install looks kinda sketchy, too. 12k is too much for pretty paint.

So the million dollar question is, if you really wanted it what would you pay and can the faults be overlooked for that price? For me personally if I could get it for $9,000 or less, I would be jumping on it.

The paint shines, and its lowered.. I like it. But not for that kind of money. I'm cheap so to me its a $ 5000.00 truck. If you got the money and you say you have to spend it and you like the truck by all means get it.. You are the only one that has to like it. Those dang tv shows make everything overpriced now!!

Re: opinions on 1967 F100 purchase
I have scoured the Internet and haven't found anything under $6,000 that dosen't need lots of work. Then I see some that are completely done that are asking $25,000 and up. The prices are all over the place on these short-bed f100.
