What is the best way to polish aluminum parts, especially the grille?

The aluminum parts on our truck are actually annodized, providing them with an extremely hard coating. In order to polish the aluminum you have to first remove the annodized coating. Here is the write-up on it: http://fordification.com/tech/polishing-trim.htm
