which book is best?

Hey guys - one more possibly ridiculous question. Im in the market for a repair manual for my truck. I have finally found chiltons ford pickups 65-86...then Ive found a 1972 truck shop volume 1-5 cd for computer (which are the 5 volumes of blue books).....and NOW IVE FOUND (well crap) I cant find the listing I saw on amazon..but it was a yellow repair manual by amaker I havent heard of but the years were like ford trucks 57 or something to like 75.....anyone pls help. Im very mechanically minded but do not want to waste money on the crappy books before i get to what i need..whats the book in your opinon and why?

I have found the CDs to be fine for what i need - although to be honest the tech articles and help from here has been my 'go to' source of info.

Get the shop manual on CD for your trucks year. Then download the CD to your computer. It will load much faster than if you opened the CD each time you needed something. Then just print off the pages you need as you need them.
