I watched that old black and white Tv western show The Rifleman today for the first time . Now I'm ready to trade my shotgun in for an old lever action. Has that happened to anyone after watching it? Ha!

Kurt Combs wrote:I believe his was modified with a large circular "lever." I watched that show a lot when I was a kid, along with Gunsmoke and the Lone Ranger.
I love the opening credits when he is rapid firing then spins his rifle to rack it for the last round while glancing towards the camera. Kicks butt.

I have a 336C Marlin, but they make a 336BL if you like the big loop lever...> http://www.marlinfirearms.com/Firearms/ ... /336BL.asp
That laminate stock looks really nice on the 336BL. Yep, I'll actually keep my shotgun. The more I think about it...12ga shotguns are just too dang handy. I like the marlin 1894 too in 44mag or 357mag. Maybe get a large loop lever aftermarket.
