To each his own, but if I lived where you do my F100 would be loaded down with furniture headed for a reasonable climate. I can handle the insects better than I can the white stuff. My cousin in Utah loves it out there & wouldn't consider living anywhere else. Back in Dec.1964 when I enlisted in the military, they gave me my choice of boot camps. San Diego or Great Lakes, Illinois. I took San Diego.

The snow is beautiful but I know for sure my wife would have nothing to do with that weather and we would be loading up and getting out as soon as possible. We are just spoiled out here in California. It has been 80 degrees and people are complaining and turning on there AC out here.

I didn't get a choice, but I did get Boot in San Dog. Nothing like the good ole seagaul crap when at attention in formation.68 Ford Stepside wrote:To each his own, but if I lived where you do my F100 would be loaded down with furniture headed for a reasonable climate. Re: Let it Snow Let it Snow
This was was not a good snow year for Tahoe. As much as I appreciate being able to work on my junk in this beautiful weather, I built my bump to snow wheel, I get hourly for snow plowing and I'm an avid skier. I say let it snow. Next year should be good. Historically, three low snow years in a row is unusual.

I've already mowed my yard 3 times this year.

Re: Let it Snow Let it Snow
I've mowed my yard every week except in late November and December. Then it was every other week. I saw snow once, that's the white stuff that falls from the sky, right? People here can't drive in the rain, I can't imagine them trying to drive in the snow.

May 1st winter storm warnings up. I still have snow in spots 2 feet deep calling for up to 2 inches. Enough already.

Winter and snow....what's that??? It's going to be hitting low 90's tomorrow.
Does anybody else's weather man report the daily surf and scuba diving conditions where they live?

We get fishing reports , and in the summer we get water temp and swimming conditions for Lake Michigan.SevNT2Bump wrote:Does anybody else's weather man report the daily surf and scuba diving conditions where they live?
(then after heavy rains we get no contact advisories because of the big cities up river.)

Re: Let it Snow Let it Snow
We had measurable snow on May 1st. That hasn't happened in Lincoln since 1967! I want SPRING!!!
