Technology In Reverse
When the linkage broke connecting my carburetor to the gas pedal, I found out no one sells that linkage. I went ahead & fabricated a new linkage to keep me on the road. Yesterday I was looking under the hood of my sons '66 F100 & noticed that the '66 has a cable control linkage.Seems like technology in reverse for my '68 to have a mechanical linkage. It makes you wonder what the engineers were thinking in 1968.

Re: Technology In Reverse
Remember the old hit-and-miss engine that only fired every fourth rev instead of every other? Some Chrysler V8's shut down half their cylinders under "low load" conditions.
