Bummer. Hopefully it will find a good home and someone will bring it back!

Go buy it, shouldn't take too much to get it fixed back up. Wonder why it wasn't wearing it's hood? Suspect new engine or major work was being done and someone forgot to tighten a fuel or PS hose.
Yeah, if I didn't have 2 bumps already I'd make an offer!
It's down, but not out, shouldn't take too much to revive it. It's still in pretty fair shape!
And I have an extra hood and grille, my neighbor has a tow truck...if only it was a shortbed.
at least the owner has a good sense of humor about the situation... thats one reason i NEED to stop procrastinating about getting an extinguisher in each of my classics, id be devastated if i was watching one of my cars burn without a way to try and stop it. a similar thing happened to a guy in a che** pickup and it did a good bit of damage, also the electrical was toast obviously. with his truck, a new fuel filter leaked on him, don't know if it was a defect part or a defect install... either way the fire was not kind to his truck.
im sure someone will take on that truck and put it back on the road.
wow that reminds me to go buy a fire extinguisher TODAY!
my old ranger (baby ranger-84) used to start on fire all the time, so much that i would try to not use a whole fire extinguisher to get it out. saved its life at least 3-4 times but they dry chemical wreaked havoc on the engine bay...
I got a sad day sight today too, no photos though.
Saw a light blue '68 F100 in the yard today. Somebody cash for clunkered it (I was surprised to see a CFC rig in there, hadn't in awhile).
Anyway damn thing was built up, obviously somebody's pride. Who knows how it ended up there.
I grabbed the recently re-done seat (one small tear), an Edlebrock Streetmaster 390 intake, a Carter AFB 600cfm carb. I"d like to go back and get the headers and shocks if I can do it, yard closed on me.
Also had a floor shift but came factory on teh tree, didn't get a chance to run through the gears to see if it was a four speed, I'd love to put a T18 in my truck one day.
