So, I've been chasing the cause of my fluttering headlights and random loss of tail lights for a month or more when I finally decide to focus on the camper wiring under the bed. Sure enough, I find bare wire and shorts so, I yank the entire harness out from the factory plug behind the bed on back and toss it...the idea being that I'd never use it anyway because I'll never find a decent period camper with lghts anyway.

On Saturday I went to buy a Farmall tractor and the seller wants to show me his collection. We go in the barn and immediately I see a mint early 70's camper shell hanging from the rafters. I make a comment on it and he says" you want it? It was my dads and I don't want to scrap it but, if you want it you can have it" It's the classic period shell...complete...even the screens are perfect. And it has 12 tear drop shaped marker lights.

Never fails! If you don't need something or can't sell it, just throw it away and somebody'll want it. Murphy's law still stands firm.
