Looking good! Keep up the awesome work!
How's the weather out in DFW? I used to live in Valley Ranch just off N. MacArthur & LBJ back in 99 and 2000. I could throw a rock and it would land in the Cowboys training center. My next door neighbor was the team Chaplain. It seemed every other week half the team was packed into our little cul de sac.

Re: 1967 F100 Resurrection
Its been colder than hell. May 3rd it got down to 39 degrees and hopefully that is the last of the cold fronts. I am ready for some Texas Heat. I use to live at the corner of Beltline and McCarthur from 99 to 2001. Then I wised up and moved to Fort Worth.Heirloom wrote:Looking good! Keep up the awesome work!

Just like Pincheweddo said COLD!!! I've been in DFW area since 68 I know exactly where both of your talking about. I've live just about smack dab in the middle little closer to Fort Worth than Dallas. I've talked to Pincheweddo before The weather has been playing havoc on us this last week you go to work wear a t-shirt and come home wearing a coat. I've been trying to get out to the shop everyday after work but usually life steps in and takes a different coarse. Been watching Heirloom and Pincheweddo projects guys keep up the great work that's the type of stuff that keeps us going to get our projects going. SO KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!

Re: 1967 F100 Resurrection
Just a little info on the paint. Yes, I am actually applying this with a paint roller. The truck was originally pebble tan but before I received it in 1983 it had been wrecked and the tan was upgraded to a "man" color. Pebble tan is a little on the pink side. I decided not to go with the original color because this is what I knew it as, so I went to Lowes and had them match some paint to some bondo chips I had. Man did they get close. I wanted to keep the beat up paint on the outside but wanted the interior to be nice so after some playing around I came up with this combination. Apply 2 coats of Valspar anti-rust armor, then 2 coats of Valspar sray on clear flat. Scuff each coat with a 3m pad before applied the next. Before the final coat, if there are any unfavorable areas, sand lightly with 320 grit. Make absolutely sure the paint is cured prior to applying the clear coat. It will winkle if is tender. I did a test patch on the dash to show you guys the difference in the finish it makes. Best part is that it hides my crappy body work.
The section under the window has beed finished, the door jam and wall behind the gas tank have not.

Nice work, weddo. I had considered doing the roller/rustoleum job. Instead I'm going to shoot single stage urethane enamel using my $80 harbor freight turbine hvlp sprayer.

Pinche. I noticed your post on heirlooms build thread that there is a salvage yard that has a few bumps near you.?. I'm in Ft Worth on a regular basis due to my job. Would you be willing to share the name and address of the yard with me???
Thanx,
Allen.

I don't know what you're talking about....I was talking about the color of your truck.
Ok, ok....its not in me to be "PC". Too fake. I'm not racist, nor was my comment meant to offend.
I could have fully translated though....
