I've been averaging about 85 miles per month since buying it last Fall. The thirst factor for gas is a big slowdown, paid 4.10 a gallon today and it does not go far. Sure is fun to drive though.

I try to take my 72 f250 4x4 out everyday for a little bit. at least a crusie through town to do the "loop". Summers get more driving in since the firewood buisness and the camping trips pick up.

I am lucky. My old rig is there for when I just want to enjoy being able to drive it. It hasnt done more than three trips of real work in the entire time I have owned it. But it has sure had a ton of miles put on it doing some serious pleasure driving and I hope that continues. Last summer she handled a trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway with no real trouble and its almost time to decide how to kick this season off. I imagine that first run will be to a town called Jasper Georgia to visit a fellow member here.

So far I've been driving mine on average about three times per week, but that's mostly because I'm fixing problems and taking it out for a drive to check out how it performs. Haven't even been through two full tanks of gas yet. Once fishing season starts (in 18 days), she'll be on longer road trips (from 25 to 200 miles) pulling a boat at least twice a week. Other than that, It will be the occasional trip to the dump or Home Depot at 5 miles and 35 miles, respectively.

I drive mine on weekends, and usually some errands during the week... don't use it to commute though, it's not well suited for modern day urban traffic and parking lots.

Mine gets used mostly for camp trips. We have a group that likes to get together for multi day off road trips.
Our last trip.

I had my yearly NYS safety inspection in March. I had driven the truck about 700 miles since the last inspection. Weeks and occasionally months go by between trips. It always starts right up after it cranks enough to get some fuel to the carb. At this rate it could easily last another 43 years if it doesn't rust away to nothing before then.

I try to drive it a little bit every week or two. It typically gets moved a bit once a week when I shuffle cars around for street sweeping.

The truck only sees about 1200 miles a year total.

Nice thing about the 300 Big Six, it gets a little better mileage.

We got one of the highest gas prices and gas taxes in the country..., -bridges falling into the rivers, but we still got the highest gas taxes in the country. And they want to raise it.

A bunch more now that I have the mini starter installed and that solved my starter heat soak problem.
