Escape now parked more.

My late wife's 2010 Escape is parked a lot more every since I put the mini starter on the 68. I can rely on the 68 starting right back up every time now so I drive it a lot more. Now I am using the 68 as the work vehicle and not the Escape. That would make Vicki happy.

There is something about driving an old truck that just makes the day. Maybe it is the uniqueness (is that even a word?). We have a couple "daily driver" vehicles but they are not "fun" to drive.

Even with no p/s, no p/b and no a/c, I still preferred driving her to my wife's new SUV. It just felt better.

My 65 CS had manual Brakes and steering, but I loved driving it with the 67 T-Bird hopped up 390 under the hood. I admit I do enjoy the P/S, Disc Brakes, and A/C in my 68.

In an emergency situation,disc brakes are a fantastic item to have. It cuts way down on the pucker factor when someone slams on the brakes in front of you. Also you don't realize how nice power steering is until you need to parallel park.
