Remembering Commercials

Post by 68 Ford Stepside »

I remember in my late teens or early twenties Ford commercials. The guy on the commercial said the new Ford six cylinder engine had seven main bearings & was indestructible. I thought, wow! My dad bought a pickup with a six along that time & he proved,at least for him, that the new six was indeed indestructible. He worked that truck unmercifully on the farm. When I think of how hard my dad worked that Ford, the only reference that compares would be Mr. Majestic in the same named movie. When I think about those days now, all I can say is WOW! :)
