This is the fresh canvass I just recently traded my '71 F350 4x4 dually for. My plan for this one is to start with converting the front suspension over to a '75 dually front disc setup, and eventually adding some dropped I-beams and a rear hanger/shackle kit. Install a '70 Mustang 22 gallon fuel tank in the rear frame rails and removing the in-cab tank. My plans are to run the 240 I-6 that the PO "Greg Morton" had installed but eventually replace it with a 460/C6 combination. Add a roll pan, and a set of 40/20/40 seats from 92-97 F350. Wish me luck!!!

Geeze.. Seeing a bunch of running crews on here recently and everyone getting to play with them makes me want mine back soooo bad! But I just have to wait as it is still getting work done. My big worry now is that when I get it back, it will be so perfect that I am afraid I will scratch it when putting it all back together. I almost wish I hadn't done a complete frame off restoration. If I hadn't, I would be messing with it right now!
Congrats on your new project and its good to see that crew stay in the Fordification family!!
Well, between honey do's, the stepsons baseball tournament. I got a few things done on the crew today!!! Got the I-beams, springs, and 2 wheels back from my buddy's paint & blast shop. I was able to install new studs on the rear hubs to allow the installation of dual wheels. It appears I will be needing to widen the rear inner wheel wells to allow for clearance of the inside tire...
