I like the tail lights.

It is the stripes and red piping on the seats that I do not care for.

The Raptor graphics are optional, hopefully these are too...

I actually like this truck and the stripes with is odd for me. What I like about them is my dad bought a brand new truck in 1978 it was a f150 flareside it was called a leisure times package with was a dealer option it was shipped to Indianapolis to put wheels and stripes on a base model f150 it had about same stripes.

I would like a 4x4 one! Hold the stripes for me too.

It supposedly will come in 4wheel drive.

Seems this is more or less an EcoBoost powered Regular Cab Short Bed FX2/FX4 appearance package with a 4.10:1 axel (I believe 4.10 is only available in FX4 with 20" wheels otherwise).

Stripes look best on dark color so if they are not deletable black or dark grey would be a good choice.

Hopefully FRPP will have some front springs to lower it just a bit (looks like rear lowering shackles are already available) throw that and some Bilsteins on it and you are set I think.

Some channels are predicting pricing in the 23-27,000 range which is quite good I think if true.

I am not a fan of those wheels and tires. They just don't look right on a truck.

I like the tailgates and wheels too, it is just too tall.

Looks like H&R makes springs...

This looks like a replacement for the Lightning. It comes in standard cab, short wheelbase only and has a 365hp-420ft/lbs. 3.5L Ecoboost V6 with a 4.10 final. I'm not wild about the stripes but they do look better on the silver paint. I like the red piping on the seats for this one too. In fact, I like the interior a lot as a whole...it looks sporty. However, it needs to come WAAAAY down and lose the running boards if it were my truck.

In some ways I guess it is a successor to the Lighting because it is a "sport truck" but it doesn't have any real performance upgrades. Even the 4.10 axle is available else where. No suspension upgrades, no unique engine, what is new is the availability of it all in a SWB/RC body which being light should make it pretty dang quick... But everything other than the 4.10 axle can be had in the FX series with the FX appearance package, in fact one "journalist" ran a picture of a dark red FX appearance package extended cab with their story on the Tremor.

This was pretty easy for them to do with existing parts and is I gather a response to something Dodge is doing with a similar truck with a Hemi.

It is a nice package and if it sells well it might bode well for a real SVT street truck.

Still, with some minor suspension work it should be quite the performance truck, parts bin engineering or not. For around $25,000 it would be quite tempting...

And you are right the running boards could go too...
