Just thought it would be fun to post. I decided to bring out the ol' pickup for the fourth of july weekend and let her stretch out her legs a little bit. Took her to the beach for a bit then a nice drive down the old main road. When I'm driving the ol' AA you cant help but think of simpler times. When 15-25mph was fast enough and you were happy just have a single map light on the dash for light if needed. Shes still 6volt positive ground with a model B engine so even the chore of advancing the timing is eliminated. what a marvelous modern world we live in.

I love those old vehicles. My children say they would not ride in older cars but i'm sure they will appreciate them when they get older.

Its alot of fun. lots of thumbs up and people wanting to chat. I have alot of history with this particular truck. My neighbor behind my grandmothers house was a big Model A guy. My grandfather passed away when I was 8 so I kinda adopted him as a grandpa. I used to ride shotgun with him with alot when he took loads to the dump with the 29' . He taught me how to drive this particular truck when I was 14. ( another long story ) as he aged and got weaker I would drive him in the truck to the dump or wherever he wanted to go. He passed away in Dec and the family didnt have a clue as to what he had in the garages so i ended up with 95% of the stuff ( they were literally going to fill up the son in laws truck and take his stuff to the dump) and I wanted to truck for sentimental reasons.
