Lost at least half a gallon week before last, even though I burned off a gallon between fill up and parking at home. Had to turn the truck around, which means the rain collects in the bed...
I can remember when mine would do that ,
But I can't remember the last time I could "fill" the tank.

Irritating? Since the ol' Ford isn't my daily driver, I'd say the most irritating thing is:

the many wasp nests which appear here, there and everywhere when the truck sits for more than a week or two!

Mine may sound odd but having just put a cam in I have been chasing bugs trying to get her ready for the show in Branson. We were not able to take our truck to Anderson due to plates not arriving in time. Anyway my grip is with a 460 it is hard to tell when you drop a cyl. I had plenty of power etc. Pulled the air cleaner & it was popping under acceleration through the carb. Double checked firing order all good. Pulled #4 plug & gas fouled. There is a story that goes with that but we will fore go that. In any case dried the plug off & put it back in. Problem solved. I wonder how long I would have driven it on 7 cyls without even knowing.
