Every now & then I have to change out a mechanical fuel pump on one thing or the other. Usually the gas tank is full, so I needed to shut off the supply hose at the pump.Using a small c-clamp & two pieces of rounded wood I sawed off of a broom handle,worked perfectly as a shut off valve. Shuts the fuel completely off without damage to the rubber hose.

Reminds me of the years on the left over WWII Tin Cans. Make em as the need arises, sometimes using wire and bubble gum.
