Morn'un,
After read'un every thread I can find here on this subject I still have a question or 2.
I understand that there were only 2 Supports used on this era of trucks (67-72):
1. Non-Super Cool - to include Standard, Extra Cool and A/C. and
2. Super Cool.
It appears that the difference in these 2 Supports is the width of the opening for the radiator. So, my first question is .. What are the deminsions (H x W) of these 2 supports?
Also, I find that there are 2 ways to mount the radiator to the support. "Front" where the radiator mounts directly to the flat surface of the Support and "Rear" where the radiator mounts to a bracket that is part of the Support. So, question #2.
Are all rear mounted Supports "Super Cool" supports?
I put a Support from a 1969 F350 2x4 in my 1970 F250 4x4. It is the rear mount bracket type for the radiator and has an opening of 18" H x 27 1/2" W.
Is this a "Super Cool" Support?

Re: Radiator Supports
The super cool uses a different mounting bracket for the radiator. It's a lot deeper vs. the light duty stuff. You'll need to run a super cool radiator or figure out some adapter to put a standard one in.
