Transmission world loses a Legend

Post by Donnie »

Is is with a heavy heart that I am posting this report:
On June 7, 2013 the world lost a great leader & a pioneer in the world of transmissions....
Gil Younger, founder & owner of Transgo, the innovator & problem solver who first laid claim to improving the valve body in the automatic transmission, has moved on to the great transmission shop in the sky.
Gil, old boy, I hope that there are a few 7 & 8 speeds & a nice equipped lab for you there to keep you content..
We will miss you.....................................................RIP.............................Don Emory :(

I hate to hear when anybody in the vintage auto world leaves us. But I pray for comfort for his family and a drag strip of gold for him!
