Interstate Auto Transport
My mother in law is moving from NY to AZ. She'd like to ship her car. We have done some research online and it seems that all we can find are brokers who will put the job out to bid. have any of you found and dealt with a carrier that you would recommend? It seems like the industry is full of scammers.

Re: Interstate Auto Transport
I did the same thing early this summer... got fed up with the run around and potential rip offs. I would suggest sticking with a known shipper... moving companies are probably the best bet. It wont be cheap. We decided to sell the car and buy new on the other end. It was over half the value of the car to ship it! So is it worth it to ship it... your call??

Quite a few years back I used:

Not cheap, but professional and I thought fairly priced for the service.

Re: Interstate Auto Transport
I think intercity is a little more than we need for her '07 Hyundia.

Re: Interstate Auto Transport
Probably, but I was rather surprised that they didn't cost much more than an open transport at least for my job...FLATBEDFORD wrote:I think intercity is a little more than we need for her '07 Hyundia.

Re: Interstate Auto Transport
It would be nice to deal with the actual carrier and not a third party. Yes, it is almost always true that you get what you pay for. I'm just not sure that my mother in law would see it that way too.
