Where to Find Pricing Info

Post by Subzero »

Im trying to figure out pricing info on my truck to type an info page about it for car shows. I checked out the VIN decoder page on this site but im wondering how much certain options cost in 1968 and the original purchase price etc. Does anyone know if there is a page that tells the information or if anyone knows about it?
My truck has the Ranger package, under dash A/C, P/B, P/S and auto trans.
Thanks for the help :fr:

Theres a page here somewhere that has that info on it. I seen it years ago but have no clue as to where to look for it. If basketcase302 was here im sure he would know where its at.

I remember priceing out a fully loaded 69 highboy and came up with close to 5k if i remember right.

Get a Marti report for you truck. They can reproduce the window sticker for you.

Thanks for the replies. I remember right after I bought the truck I found a page that said how much one costed new but I can't find it anywhere. The Marti report looks great ( especially the Elite package) but I'd rather put $40 in fixing my truck than on a report with everything going on. The $15 one seems to just say what I've already figured out from decoding the VIN myself. I'll keep it in mind down the road though.

I looked around on Martis Auto Works and what I thought was the coolest is their Personalized Stat report. I think it would be interesing to know how many other F100s ( if any) are alike yours. I can't believe Ford would throw away all that info about the cars. I did email Ford asking if they could send me anything about the truck from the VIN.

Ford emailed me back and said they're working on the VIN. They also said you can order a build sheet for 17 bucks from Ford Gear.

I just accidentally stumbled on the website again today. Here it is http://www.oldride.com/library/1968_ford_f100.html . It doesn't do much for pricing but it gives an idea and has some other cool things about the trucks.

Often you will find the build sheet beneath the seat. That may help you document the truck.

Where beneath the seat? I've looked inside the bottom of the seat and the floor. I will go check again and see what I can find.

I looked all around and no build sheet. My interior was redone at some point and it was probably removed then.
