quick question?

Post by Nickabocker »

hey everybody I just got a quick question I work for GM dealership here in Idaho and I've been recently been asked to help liquidate some older parts that we have in our inventory system they're very miscellaneous at best I'm wondering if anybody knows or is anybody looking for any older parts for vehicles. I have filters and rotors and starters and spark plugs and all sorts of stuff and I'm trying to find the best avenue to sell em if you guys are looking for anything let me know they're all AC Delco parts as of right now.if you need one I will check to see if I have it and I will be giving great deals. like 70 cents on the dollar kinda deal

Went through the same thing when we bought out an old dealership. There was a company that bought everything we had, then they catalog it and try to sell it. The name escapes me right now, but if I can remember I'll let you know.

The dealers I know all give their outdated inventory to scrap dealers on contract to destroy those parts.

70 cents on the dollar sounds like the dealer's still making 100% or more profit on the parts. If you want to move them, in bulk, you'll have to go more like 7 cents on the retail dollar.
