1995 ford f150 eddie bauer input anyone?

Post by hedz »

hello

can anyone tell me the possible suspension (rear end, transfer case, 4wd specs etc.) in a 1995 f150 eddie bauer edition with a 5.8?

i may be hired for a oil and gas job. I need a truck that's reliable for offroad extensive work. I know this truck i'm looking at can do it. My f100 can't perform with reliability. I'm also thinking is the suspension in this eddie bauer like the rear end and transfer case etc. a reliable enough quality to eventually transfer to my f100 to make it my dream truck? I'm hoping the components in this truck i'm looking at are very desireable all across the board for ford truck enthusiasts who like to put their trucks through intense use.

Not sure what you are asking but the F150 5.8 is a very dependable truck. I currently have a F350 5.8 Crew cab and has been a great truck. I bought it with a bad engine ( no oil changes) And has been a good truck after installing rebuilt engine. 144,000. This truck replaces a 93 standard cab 5.8 with 325.000 miles that ran strong and but no oil. I just wanted the crew cab.

Front end will be a Dana 44 ttb, rear will be an 8.8, tranny will be an aode, or e40d. No clue on the tcase except I know it's chain driven. You will do fine offroad. I had a bronco 5.8, e40d,44ttb/8.8 combo and I never broke anything playing around offroad. Very dependable truck, only thing that will kill them is idiots at a tranny shop..... :x
