Truck Weight
I was looking over tech and it says that my truck weights roughly 3460 but the calculation does not give different motor's. Does anyone know the weights of the different motors? I'm trying to figure out if my truck and trailer will handle hauling the F100 to Daytona for the turkey run. It is a 18ft equipment trailer and a 2wd excursion so it should be fine.
Re: Truck Weight
not sure what truck youve got, but my 2wd shortbed weighed in at roughly 3800 lbs. with an iron headed 460 stroker, c6 auto and stock suspension. I may have had an extra 50 lbs in the interior...FWIW

Just a swb 2wd with a inline 6 and 4speed. Custom cab with no ac. I'm sure the figure I saw is close just didn't know the difference in weight between the motors.

Re: Truck Weight
My F100 LWB style side with a 302 and 3spd, with no options at all, weighed 4140# according to the scales at the dump. This was a consistent number every time I went over several years.

Re: Truck Weight
My 72 short bed with 302 and c4 weighed in at 3,410 WITH me in it. So i'd say aout 3,200 lbs.

Re: Truck Weight
The factory curb weight listings are for base model trucks with standard options, including gas/water/oil. Six-cylinder engines and manual transmissions were standard.
As for the various engine weights, use this chart:
