truck started the last 2 cold days

Post by abe »

Its been cold here in north central PA as it has for much of the country. My 1970 F350 started easily yesterday when it was 0 degrees after sitting for 2 days and again this morning when it was 5 degrees. I am very pleased about that!

That's great. This winter has tested mine, so far we've seen unusual 8 degrees and she starts every morning so far.

Yep, fine weather to test stuff. My ranchero's lower radiator hose was crunchy Wednesday thanks to an ignored water pump leak that I just kept adding water to. Freeze plugs didn't pop luckily and it was fine once I dumped a dozen jugs of hot water on everything. I did drain the radiator as I still need to fix the water pump (eventually).

Hope all is ok with it..Cold weather can really raise heck with our older rigs. (I meant classic) :)
