Far fewer '67 parts

Far fewer '67 parts
Ok, so I've been spending a lot of time looking thru the MACs, LMC, etc. catalogs online. Can someone tell me why is it that there seems far fewer parts available for the year 1967? I've looked enough where I know I'm not imagining this.

The main reason is that 67 Trucks have a lot of one year only parts. Where as 68 to 72 where almost identical and parts where interchangeable making the demand for 67 parts less and not as profitable. If you find good quality 67 parts they seem to go for more $$$.
