3.25 9. 334A
I recognise 3.25 as ratio 9 as ring gear size but 334A and the top row no clue.

Best I can figure the 334A was some internal Ford assembly line code that would have meant something to the assembly line workers putting the rear end together. I've never been able to find any information explaining or cross referencing what these alpha-numerics mean.
The 2ED is the build date for the rear end assembly. 2=year, 1972. E=month, May. D= the 4th week of the month. So, the rear end was assembled the 4th week of May, 1972.
