hit again..

Post by Abrams »

So, my poor truck got hit again.. I say again because in the five months that I've owned the thing its been hit four, yes 4 times.
This time some kid in a Honda took a running start and ran right into the front of my truck. I've got bumper, driver fender, grill and lower valance damage. The carb seems to out of whack as it wont idle worth a damn and this morning I go outside to see a big tear in the body work above my door. This thing is a dent magnet! I swear I don't have a straight panel left on it now.. It looks so pitiful sitting in the drive way. Poor thing.
I think the door ding fairy has it out for me.

Well, it was pretty messed up...
The insurance has the truck at a repair shop now. I'm a little concerned though. The auto shop told me the insurance people are calling in a third party to value the truck and repair parts. I'm getting this feeling that the insurance may try to simply cut me a check and scrap the truck.
Any one know if I have any legal recourse if they try it?
thanks
