Boxwood Green over New Lime

Post by 91Bear »

My truck is New Lime and I have never seen it used as part of a two-tone. I like it.

What are those doo-dads around the back window?

I like it too...

I think those might be snaps around the back window, perhaps for a sunshade or pass through for a camper...

About the doo-dads. :hmm: I wonder if it ever had a camper shell on it and the back window was taken out then there was a filler that snapped into place between camper shell and cab

With a camper, it appears a rear view mirror wasn't necessary.

Nice rig.. the color combo is subtle. I dig it. My rig is new lime and it's still befuddling.. it's is a weird color.. it's light yellow with a hint of green.

It is a weird color. Sometimes it looks green, sometimes yellow, sometimes a cream color. I think my truck gets more attention because of the color than it would if it were blue, black or red.

I like that color combo too. Though its not the same color but close, Kentdaryl was an active member here sometime ago and his truck had a similar color scheme that is my favorite by far. If I ever fix up my highboy real nice, I will copy his truck. http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... 32#p391432

Also I agree with those "doo-dads" being for a pass-through camper. They are all the male end of button snaps. My 70 has them and I can tell it was used for a camper along with some other things. My truck has a camper plug in the cab behind the drivers door, had holes near the hood for camper supports, and a spare battery tray under the hood.

Very nice truck.
How does that work? You have to take the back window out?

It may fall under the "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" category. ;)

just curious. would be nice to see the value go up on nice trucks like this so more people would fix them up.
