Moved it around the backyard, took the dented trim piece off the drivers fender. Realized I'm going to have to replace the tranny pan as the one that's on it has a big dent, and it leaves a red spot on the ground after sitting for a few days. Oh, well. A new pan always makes the tranny run better, right? :?

Took the ring gear off the differential, created dummy set up carrier bearings for the re-installation of my carrier, ordered my Detroit Locker for my Dana 60, cleaned and painted differential cover in prep of pinion installation, and performed a little shop clean up!

My oldest and I worked on the F-350 all day.

Painted the insides of the doors, installed the tinted glass once they were dry enough, poked holes in the rug and mounted the seat and belts, rummaged through the shed finding all sorts of missing stuff. Installed the modified lower front valance, ended up getting my turn signals working and currently working on offsetting the front bumper brackets to compensate for the 1.5" body lift.

Actually, this was yesterday. I replaced the fuel pump and filter. No more fuel leak. :D
Now, I need to track down the fuel gauge problem. Gauge pegs when the sender is grounded, so the gauge is good. Replaced the sending unit, made no difference. :x

I guess it wasn't so much what I did (directly) to my truck today as what I did with it. I went to the wrecking yard and hauled home a pair of GT40P heads off a 97-1/2 up 5.0L Ford Explorer. I also grabbed the oil - to - water cooler and the harmonic balancer with the E D I S trigger wheel for a distributorless ignition setup.
