2005 F150 Battery issues.

Post by hotrod ford »

Today I drove my 05 F150 to work and to some other places today. On my last stop before home I went to the store and it would not start when I was ready to leave. When I turned the key over it made an unusual click then all the needled on my gauges started to move erratically. I got a jump and it started right up and I drove home. Once home I let the truck run for 20 minutes. I turned it off removed the key then put the key back in, turned it over and the same thing all over. Any ideas?

Could be corroded terminals or charging system. Most autoparts stores will check the charging system battery for free.
