Well i waited for warm weather to get here and now i can't work on my bump like i should be doing. My son has run into some legal issues and he needs my help financially . He is a good son and i cannot pass up helping him, so there goes my bump funds for awhile I do not complain to him about it due to making him feel guilty about the situation . I just thank God for the opportunity to be there for my son. Ever since i started that project it has been a passion of mine. I love the old bump and have learned a lot about it, especially from you guys. No way i'm giving up on it, just setting it to the side for awhile. I will be installing the front and back windows this weekend. The only reason i get to do that is because i had them paid for before this issue came up. I know you guys don't know my son or what he is going thru but keep me and him in your prayers.
I respect and admire you for having your priorities in order. It's just a truck. As has been said many times, "Life isn't bump friendly". My target for my truck was 3 years. That passed a month ago for similar reasons. Seems like somebody in the family is always in a pickle and needing financial help. So now my target is 2 more years (they needed a LOT of help ) and it may move again. It's a passion but it's also just a hobby and hobbies are something you love to do but are done when you have the time and money to put into them. We're all here to support each other through our various ups and downs and we're here for you Jimmy! I pray things go well for you and your son. Keep us posted on things!

Years ago I did a 65 Ford CS. Took years to finish due to the family came 1st. Sold my 06 F-150 XLT when it was 4 years old. I loved that truck, but it was just a thing and my late wife came 1st.
