Yep, spring start up stinks. Changing oil, sharpening blades, cleaning filters, and then maintenance every weekend.

Yup...I manage a cemetery. Time to mow, mow, mow, and set sprinklers. I have 3 settings a week for about 460 sprinklers. Have to go around and plug in each and every one, and then put em away until the next week. That being said, I love my job.

With an 11 and 17yo boys I don't do much mowing or dog poop anymore. However, the motivating is stressful enough that I 'should' just do it myself.

One of my tenants moved out on April 6. 'Been doing maintenance and repair every weekend in addition to running my own household and a full time job... my 70 has been on jackstands for almost a momth awaiting its axle flip. Property management has been sucking the life outta me and negating any wrenching time.

It has its ups and downs. When all is good an 'extra' $6,000 per month is a good thing.

Rental does have its ups and downs, but a lot more ups then downs. Rental is what allowed me to retire 6 years ago at 57 year old.
