Ha funny how that truck seems to be painted the same color yellow as that steel thing.

Another non-bump, but here is my dad and his brand new 1973 highboy taken in August of 73 when he got it home. Yeah, that is me in the bed of the truck...

That is a cool picture. Love your slippers!
I was going to try to recreate the photo but I don't know where I could find slippers like that in a size 12.5!

Out of order, I show you out of order. You don't know what out of order is, Mr. Trask. I'd show you, but I'm too old, I'm too tired, I'm too [censored]' blind. If I were the man I was five years ago, I'd take a FLAMETHROWER to this place! Out of order? Who the hell do you think you're talkin' to? Florian wrote:Someone shared this beautiful photo from 1967 in the Fordification Facebook group recently. This got me inspired to dig into the history of my truck once again and see if I can track down any of it's previous owners and talk to them, maybe even get an old picture of it! That would be awesome!

In the meantime I thought it would be cool to start a thread with pictures of Bumpsides from when they were new or slightly used cars in the 60s - 70s. Doesn't have to be your truck. Just cool old photos!

PS: I did a search but surprisingly I could`t find a thread like this yet. If there is already one, please let me know, would love to see it!

I'm thinking that photo was taken because the truck was brand new. That's a 1967 truck but the black plates are Texas plates from 1966. The plates were black again in 1968 but said "HEMISFAIR" along the bottom. However, Loughmiller Motors is in Pittsburg, Kansas.
