Doesn't look like a bad start. Honestly, I'd take any mechanical or electrical problem over rust issues any day.

oh no it's not a bad start at all. just a few things that i wasn't expecting... water in oil, etc.

no but like I said, the boss is being real cool about it. Now I have the reason to go through the motor. Plus I'm actually pretty surprised at how the seller did a good job of making it right. He could have very easily wiped his hands from it. I feel pretty good about it.... maybe not a great deal on my part but not terrible either.

from the looks of the two photos it looks like a very solid truck, I am glad the seller worked with you on some of the unknown problems! Congrats!
