Looking for tires? Walmart has Goodyear Integrity for $59

Post by 68RGR »

Don't know if these are decent tires or not but they are brand name -

215/70R15 for 59 bucks each. They also have it in 225/60R16 for $69.00 each.

And Wrangler 235s at $74.50 -

I've heard some who didn't like the Walmart tire installs - So, you can buy 'em there and have them mounted anywhere you like.

Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in garages. (Apologies to Kenneth Grahame.)

From what I've seen of Wranglers if it's 4 ply don't waste your money on them, They cup bad and roar after about 20k. The 6 ply Wrangler I've had good luck with and would use them again without a second thought.

Just in case no one knows the P in front of tire is for passenger car tire. LT would be Light truck. SO if you are hauling anything heavy you might buy the LT tires.

Yea, Integrity's are passenger car, unless there is a truck size.. Not that I know of.
My Corolla came with those OEM, and I put the same thing on it for the 2nd set of tires.
They are so-so tires.. They are low rolling resistance, but not the greatest wet traction.
In fact, when they start getting wore out, they can be kind of slippery in the rain.. :(
But I wanted to stay with low RR, and those were about the cheapest at the time.
I may well go with something else the next set. But still lots of miles left on what I have now.
I think I changed out the OEM's at about 57k miles, and am up to 76k on set #2. About need
to rotate em.. 60-70 bucks a tire ain't bad at all for those sizes.

I bought the 235-75-15's a few months ago at Walmart.

Like everything else, the price has gone way up on tires, and this was all I could afford.
They look good. "Made in USA". Probably are 4-ply though.
