'69 Crewcab in Seymour Texas

Post by Brokenarrow »

I stopped and looked at this truck as I was passing through Seymour this past Saturday. Looked pretty clean & solid other than the hole in the RF fender. Had $7500 marked on the sign on the dash. I think it is very much in the money.

It's good that is has "front and rear anti swag bars."

Helps keep your bed clean and free from unnecessary loads of junk.

Way too much. Horrible "restoration" if that is what really happened.

It never ceases to amaze me - Some guy has a 40 year-old truck and automatically it's worth thousands just because it has 4 fenders, 2 doors (OK, 4 in this case), a hood and an engine.

I have two theories about sellers like this one. They either haven't lived 40 years so anything that old has to be really valuable or they've never had anything that old because they never bothered to take care of their stuff!

Either way, just keep moving, the faster the better.

I know it's tempting to tell them they are crazy but I've come to the realization that it's better to let them figure it out for themselves. After the 35th Craigslist renewal, it might start to sink in . . . Then again, it might not!

Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in garages. (Apologies to Kenneth Grahame.)

Hey, it's an F-254. Those are very rare. Most only go up to 250.
