Great post 68RGR, that really made me smile.

Its only been the last couple years though that I needed glasses, mostly for night driving. Most mornings I wake up feeling like an 18 year old, but there never seems to be one around.

I did very well over the years owning my own businesses and being my own boss and the Mrs. did the books and cooking etc, But I have to stay busy doing something and working at the County is fine but when one works for establishments like that, you are only hired from the neck down. The pay is good and full benefits and life insurance which I may need if the 18 year old ever shows up! They make pills for everything now but learning from others mistakes, it is a helluva lot cheaper working on our old trucks than dealing with a girlfriend!
And speaking of TV, we had an accountant friend and his wife stay over for a couple days. He has glasses and could hardly see my small TV on the book stand. So I get a call from the parcel folks in town and the guy sent me this huge flat screen TV that more resembles a drive in theatre than home entertainment with 4 remotes and 80 miles of wire and connectors. Its OK but I still get 6 channels out here. Not sure just yet how the TV got paid for but Im sure my fees will increase slightly over the next couple years.
I dont like to procrastinate but I will write more about that later.
