Sounds really expensive to me especially for a truck that is not in good running condition. It took me a few years to find my 67 and my advice is to be patient and the truck opportunity will present itself when u least expect it. I almost ended buying a 71 bump before my 67 but the seller was just not following through with the negotitation and I just walked away from the deal so just remember you're the one with the Cash and Cash does the talking. You can go and buy another nicer truck somewhere else.

I bought the truck 2 weekends ago. I cannot get pictures to load here. Its a great truck! It was a treat helping the original owners nephew get the truck running after sitting for the last 4-5 years. It didn't take very long, a little gas down the carb and a few cranks. When I got it home I discovered the #7 intake valve was stuck and it bent the pushrod. I fixed that, rebuilt the carb and changed the oil. It has an exhaust leak on the #1 exhaust so I picked up a gasket set, if that doesn't work I'll try copper gaskets. Super proud to be the second owner of this 68!

Nice 2wd. My 68 is 4x4 and its not common to find one that isn't a rust bucket in MN. The original owners wife was there the whole time we got the truck running, took pictures of the whole affair. It was a big part of their lives and I'm proud to own it. I had to pay more than $2300, but that's comparing apples to oranges anyway. This truck has never made a track in the snow. They owned a lake cabin in Canada and it was used for travel back and forth until 1998. 55,xxx miles on the odometer.

Good looking rig. 55k is almost like new on the drivetrain. I bought a 56k 69 highboy farm truck and replaced everything body wise and have over 10k in it. Think you made the right choice buying the truck.
