Power steering pump to cv swap

Post by wvmike »

Hi everyone ,im kinda new here ,but I have learned a lot. I just finished bolting my 03 crown vic front end into my 70 f100 ,302,3speed,manual steering. I'm now looking for what is the best way to add a power steering pump & brackets to my truck.I can get a factory pump at the parts store, but I am having a hard time finding a complete bracket setup anywhere ,even my good buddy that works at a junk yard hasn't found me 1 yet.I have found some kits that adapt a chevy/Saginaw pump to my engine ,but they are pricey and Not sure if it is the best setup for me. Any help is appreciated! :fr:

Hi, did you ever work this issue out? I'm doing the same thing and would love to know what your solution was.

Yes ,I did figure it out. I bought the billet bracket and pulley from cvf racing and bought a rebuilt pump from napa. More than I wanted to spend but we'll worth it.
