Manual Steering Box maintinance
So the play in the steering box is just getting worse. Its at about 90 Degrees now. So me and my dad were doing to Home Depot and he noticed this and told me that back in the day you could tighten these boxes. Is this true and is so how do I do it?

Have you checked your rag joint?
There is some adjustment for the manual steering box. Tension is one. But if you decide to get into it, please pull read the ford service manual on that topic first. Couple of gotcha's when you start breaking it down. I ended up ordering a replacement from Advanced Auto.

Figured it out. The bolts holding the steering box to the frame were loose. Tightened them back up. Steering is much better.
