69 CS with disc brakes here too and I wanted to go to the 8-lug Alcoa 16" wheel, will those fit or a little grinding is in my future....

if I could find some 16.5 US Mag 'Indy' or 'Ansen' style wheel at a reasonable price I'd do that.

Soon rebuilt 390, not stock, will be swapped in.

Pull out that grinder an a few beers an youll be all set. Done it many times for truck to fit 15-16's no problems an no worries. Plenty of meat on these calipers
