Arrrg, the sliding rear window for the 68 is great. Now if they would just send me the right gasket. 1st one was way to big. when I called their cust service the person kept insisting I measure the gasket and tell her what size it is I put it in the box and shipped it back with a letter explaining the situation. So I get the new gasket and it is for the non chrome trim. I have the trim. the 1st one was for the trim, just to big. So I just received the 3rd one. Haven't checked it yet, hope it fits. If not I am going to cut it, have a buddy help with a second set of hands, and when the window is installed I will shoot some RTV into where the two ends of the gasket come together.

Yeah. I got a back window seal from lmc too. It physically fit but the area it covered externally on the back of the cab was different. It cover as much of the cab so guess what? Some of the old light blue outlined my back window surrounded by dark blue from the later paint job. cracked me up but I sure wasnt going to pull the seal out again. Use the rope trick John, with soapy water or something slippery. makes life almost easy doing that job.
