Rag joint

Post by MAK »

Ok, another stupid question. Do the larger diameter studs screw-in to the metal backer? Should I be able to get hold of them with some vise grips and remove so that just the rag joint can be replaced?

Those will come on the new rag joint. I just got the complete rag joint from Advanced for mine, but I'm rebuilding the column so it's not hooked up yet. Here is a link to the joint, not a bad price.
