CV Big Brake kit adapters?
Anyone know how we can mount some larger (and sexier) brake pistons after a CV swap? I'd like some options. Spacer/adapter, compatible spindles, anything? Thanks

So to make sure I understand that correctly, any '04 Cobra brake kit will bolt up after said mod to the IFS spindle? Like this...

Re: CV Big Brake kit adapters?
I've installed Cobra disc brakes (front and rear) on my '68 Mustang but not on a Ford F100/CV suspension so, I can't say for certain that an aftermarket set of brakes, meant for use on a '94-'04 SN95 Cobra, would bolt on after the modifications were made to the CV spindles. If the Wilwood discs would bolt on, after the spindle modifications, then you would have a cool looking set of large brakes. ....If it didn't work, I guess it would be a $1,700.00 dollar mistake.skblixt96 wrote:So to make sure I understand that correctly, any '04 Cobra brake kit will bolt up after said mod to the IFS spindle? Baer makes a 14" kit for the vic. It's not cheap though.

Coupe5oh, could you post a link? I see they have them for stock F100s, but I couldn't find anything for a Crown Victoria. Thanks

Re: CV Big Brake kit adapters?
I found this here http://www.jegs.com/i/Baer-Brake/136/4261046/10002/-1 but when I contacted Baer about a kit for the CV, they only said they have rotors and pads for the factory setup...
