More vintage advertisements posted

Post by FORDification »

I just scanned and posted another vintage ad to the 1968 Ford Truck Magazine Advertisements page. I also posted another factory postcard...this one for the '71 Explorer Special. It can be found on the 1971 Ford Pickup Salesman's Postcards page.

Pretty cool Keith!

Check out the shoulder strap seat belts on the 3rd page of the '68. Blue? They're so rare they must of had only one set for all the ads. Notice on the 1st page not much load in the bed and it's already going down with the cab coming up. What do we got, a guy standing on the tailgate unloading a crank (probably a 427) plus a box of parts? That's why I like F250's. :D

"Are you gonna make it all 220?"
"Yeah 220, 221, whatever it takes."

I wonder why you never see any shortbeds or flaresides in those ads.
