FORD BRAZIL F1000

Post by IVAN COLOMBIA »

I'M sending some pictures I got from the web, about the F1000 (that's how they call the F100 in Brazil). I wanted you guys to know that our beloved 67-72 body was sold in Brazil until 1990(aprx) with diesel MWM engines and some face-lifts. Pls check it out and let me know your thoughts (

Ivan, are you saying that in 1990 you could buy a new 67-72 body style truck in Brazil? That is really interesting. And with a factory installed diesel motor. Nice looking truck. How are the prices down there? Just curious.

That is pretty cool! Would love to see what the instrument panel looks like. Noticed it has the lever parking brake, the kind that overcenters, there's a name for that.

I donno about the tooling, seems like it would have worn out by then.

hat grill reminds me of the smaller mid 80's rangers. and i don't care for the rear at all. that is just too wierd. it looks more like half of a camper shell.
