Took the truck out for a spin last night. When I got home I noticed antifreez dripping behind the front Pass. tire. Think I got a bad heater
core. 360 V8, with AC. Where does the core come out? From the engine bay or inside cab? Thanks in advance........
Heater core.

Re: Heater core.
A heater core leak would be on the inside of cab not by front tire. You may have a leak in one of the hoses to or from the core. Maybe at a connection. Or a spraying leak in a radiator hose or radiator.
May your sails stay full, and your knots not slip. Unless a slip knot.

Re: Heater core.
I'm assuming this is a bump truck. I believe later years hade the heater core on the engine side of the firewall

Re: Heater core.
From your post, I'm assuming this is a factory AC truck. That being the case, you will have to take your old heater core to a good radiator shop and have the old top and bottom tanks soldered onto a new core. No one reproduces the cores for an AC equipped truck. Non AC trucks, you can get the cores all over everywhere. AC trucks, well...........

Re: Heater core.
This is a 1974 F250. Under the truck, behind the Pass. wheel there is a hole with a pipe in it. Thats where the leak is. It would be under the
blower fan/heater core box in the engine comp. Do I remove this housing to get at the core?

I am in this boat myself. Autozone has them for $25.00. It comes out from in the cab, not a bad job. Remove the Cover, AC condenser and then the heater core.
