They lost the U

Post by wildcard »

Misspelled words stand out to me. I make spelling errors myself so I don't make a big deal out of it. I guess this caught my eye because it's done by people that supposedly know better.
My wife has an 05 Cavalier. I went to the store in it this morning and noticed it was almost out of gas. :x Also there was a red light on to the left of the speedometer :? . I get back and get my glasses on :D and go to see what the light says.
It says....CHECK GAGES.... I think to myself, the Gages I knew have all passed away. OK, enough of that.
Makes you wonder what else they got wrong. :hmm:
Just thought I would throw that out there and share Chevrolets mistakes with the world.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY.

You have to keep it simple. Too many letters will confuse a GM guy...

And nobody is going to touch the joke that a GM guy needs a light to tell him when to check the gauges?

i guess when you have a splendid reliable GM vehicle you must just completely forget to look at the gauges from time to time?

i'm pretty sure my truck doesn't have one as most of the gauges don't work anyhow. if it did have one it would probably be broke too.

Wife's '02 explorer has the same thing, plus it beeps at you. Kept losing oil pressure when I went around sharp turns. I reset the change oil now thingy at least once as it goes by time and mileage and wants changed too often for the mileage. Only got 2 quarts of oil out of the pan when I changed it last week so I must have reset it twice instead of once. Oops...

Ha! I think it is what the average gm owner spells but that light is there to get you to look at the gauges while you are worring about the horrible wind noise and the fact it is raining inside. (I know this my mom bought an astro van when they were new and the roof blew off entirely. I thought it was a exellent testament to gm build quality.) :D
