f100 to f250

Post by Hunter17 »

I have just found a 1970 f100 i have always liked this body style, but have wanted something that is heavier. I am just wondering how hard it would be to switch it to 3/4 to springs and axles.

'Not very hard... it's just a drivetrain, suspension, & brake swap.

I'd just look for a complete F250..it's not like these trucks are rare.

I just paid $800 for a '70 F250 2wd, with a dead drive line and good sheet metal. I'm going to put the sheet metal on a 4x4, then sell the rest. I doubt you are willing to wait 3 or 4 years for a frame.
Due to the high cost of ammunition, you can no longer expect a warning shot.

When someone was beating on my door hollering "Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms", I naturally assumed it was a delivery.

Isn't the frame different too? I was under the impression that the F250 frame was made of thicker steel.

Cheers,
